| This book is full of great information. I plan to buy whatever else Dr. Creflo writes. What a wondeful ministry, wonderful book, and wonderful preacher. Listen to his show each week, your life will turn for the better! More importanly, as he preaches you soul will live for eternity. I watch Creflo Dollar regularly and love his ministry because there is nothing that he teaches that you can't to look up at home in your own personal bible. But in my opinion, it would be more beneficial to buy a concordence than this book (if you don't alright have one). And I will give you a summary of the 8 steps so you can save money in today's stressed economy.
Step 1: Think about all of your issues and list them in a journal.
Step 2: Find all the biblical references pertaining your issues in a concordence
Step 3: Write down all the ones that speak to you or address your specific problem.
Step 4: Reveiw the scriptures frequently (meditate on them day and night)
Step 5: Identify the habits that contribute to ungodly thinking and eliminate them
Step 6: Do at least 5 deeds a day to benefit someone other than you. List 5 things you love so much you would do them for free...then do them every day.
Step 7: Following this ritual reguarly will create new habits.
Step 8: Pray at least 15-20 minutes a day (Which in my opinion should have been step 1)
AND YOUR ON YOUR WAY TO THE LIFE YOU WANT.
Save your money and buy Jack Canfield's Success Priniciples all of the prinicples are scriptually sound and he gives you almost 70 life priniciples including these 8 steps for less. As the daughter and grand-daughter of preachers this the book that spoke to me most. So what is your greatest fear in life? What do you feel you are missing?
I can honestly say that my greatest fear was of being homeless. I know what it's like to be homeless, and it's an awful situation to be in.
The problem though is that in many ways I believe I set myself up for this. I don't mean to sound harsh, but sometimes we can take actions based on how we think that will cause the things we fear to happen.
You can avoid giving into your fears and achieve the life you want if follow the steps Creflo Dollar has outlined in "8 Steps to Create the Life You Want."
One of the most important things I learned from reading this book is the importance of scripture and reading and studying scripture on a daily basis. One of the reasons scripture is so effective is that you can use it to reprogram your mind in a positive way. Also, you discover that fear and faith can't exist in the same space. If you have faith, you won't have fear, and it will change the way you think for the better. You won't fall prey to emotional thinking, which can too easily sabotage any efforts you take to succeed. It really is that simple.
It is unfortunate that too many churches don't emphasize how important scripture is. I think it's the reason so many churches are falling apart and dying. It's also the reason why so many Christians are failing in life, and they fail at a rate that is the same or higher as non believers (Divorce, finances, disease, etc).

I didn't just read this book. I looked at the steps and started taking the steps that I wasn't taking already.
Now I am seeing growth in every area of my life: financial, physical, spiritual, and mental. Things that used to bother me don't bother me anymore. My bills are getting paid, I have extra money to spend, and for the first time in a long time, I'm enjoying my life, and it just keeps getting better and better. Life is just so good, and I believe that I will fulfill my God given destiny. A destiny that is even more incredible than I can ever imagine.
Now understand that this is the result of reading the Bible and following Jesus Christ. If you want the type of life Jesus was talking about though, one of abundance, happiness, and just pure unadulterated joy, thenr read this book. Follow what it says. It will change your life, and it will blow you away at how wonderful your life really is. You'll achieve abundance and prosperity in EVERY area of your life.
There are a lot of great books out there that will teach you how to live a satisfying Christian life. This book will take you to the next level and beyond. A must read and one of the top 15 most influential books I have ever studied and read. You definitely do not want to miss this book.

I enjoyed this book very much. It is definitely easy to read. Dollar does not use a ton of scholarly words and phrases, but simple easy to apply instruction.
I think we should all feel blessed that he is obedient, and shares his knowledge and understanding with us. Many people are out there wondering why they are still in the same situation now (or worse) than they were when they graduated high school or college. When you are finally able to admit that your way of doing things in your own power isn't working like you wanted it to, pick up this book, and Creflo will help you get started fulfilling God's plan for your life.
Everything he says is biblically based. He definitely has a blessing on his life to make it easy for the average person to understand God's message and promises to us. I definitely appreciate him. Good book. | | | Write your own review about 8 Steps To Create The Life You Want
