Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | not helpful Jun 18, 2009 |
I was looking for a simple and short book to introduce my husband to some baby behaviors and what to expect with our first child. This book is too simple.
It was not very helpful. Number 5 in the book is that your new baby will cry. Numbers 15 and 16 are that your baby will need bigger diapers and bigger clothes because he/she will grow. Do we really need a book to tell us these things? Even my husband, who has no experience with babies and children, knew these basic things.
The writing style is amateurish and silly, and the author does not demonstrate much actual or accurate knowledge about babies. In number 10, the author says that babies can't see when they are born. This is not correct. They can't see very far, but they can see.
