Kirk Byron Jones is a gifted and blessed writer. As I read his book, completed the exercises and completated on the lessons, my crazy pace did change. This books compels you to really think about placing yourself first. It helps one to reasses their priorties and realize that God is in total control. He writes with such a calmness that at times, you think that you are there with him looking at the trees in his front yard. This book is highly recommended for anyone who is seriously seeking to remove themselves from the rat race and letting go. This is by far the best and most helpful book I've read in years. Dr. Jones has many helpful examples and life applications for slowing down and living a more deliberate life.
