From what I've read these are the only two real worship/praise albums by the Newsboys (I could be mistaken). I'm new to the Newsboys. Both are terrific. I don't see how anyone could love one and not the other. They are like greatest hits collections. I actually like Devotion more than Adoration. I'm not too excited about their other albums, but if you like this kind of Christian praise music you can't go wrong. I'm very glad they made these two openly Christian praise albums. I hope they make more like them.
Adoration outshines Devotion Aug 18, 2008
"Adoration" is an amazing set of praise music. I have bought a number of these albums to give to friends. It is inspired, alive with the Spirit. Each of the pieces on it is truly amazing, at least to me. I bought this dual album expecting to find more of the same on the second album, "Devotion". I did not. It is quite different. Not only subdued, but I did not really care to listen to it. I have listened to "Adoration" often. My children like it (I am 61, they range from 16 - 30). My wife loves it. None of us have played "Devotion" again after the first listen.
