 | taming your tongue Mar 30, 2007 |
The book was very helpful to me. In my life I have recieved criticism for excessive talking. I was interested in self improvement. I learned several valuable tips and had never heard the one that a silent tongue is just as bad as talking too much. I agree that it is not as common of a problem but a person should speak when it prevents harm. This book is an excellent reference for using the gift of speech in a christian manner.

| I have struggled with taming my tongue, for years. This book was a great find! I read a chapter every night before bed, and focus on that chapter the next day. Each chapter builds off the previous ones in a very helpful way. | | | | Great read again and again.. Jan 4, 2007 |
| This book serves as a daily devotional. It has a key verse(mostly KJV but it does use other versions) and life application in as little as two paragraphs. Making it full of wisdom and quick to read. After reading the book I took the challenge and found personal growth as a result of it. It speaks to the Christian soul. I love the way it opens your eyes to faults you didn't even know you had in a loving way. It's so worth the price and reading again and again! | | | | Highly Relevant Sep 9, 2006 |
Though this book is based on Christian principles, I believe even non-religious people will find it helpful and relevant.
After all, this book isn't a Bible-thumping denunciation of everything non-Christian. Nor is it steeped in stereotypical "holier-than-thou" Christian morality. Rather, it's about self-awareness and consideration for others. It's about how cutting out negative speech has the potential of enhancing your life and the lives of those around you. I think those things never hurt anyone, regardless of religious affiliation.
Thus, I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever been the giver or receiver of hurtful comments and is looking for practical solutions to this age-old problem - taming the tongue. | | | | I was duped!!! Jul 10, 2006 |
| I would have never purchased this item if it had included anywhere in the description that it was religious propaganda. I didn't read the whole thing, all I saw was the statement that everything I have is because of God. If that's your world, OK, but I do not believe that garbage. | | | Write your own review about 30 Days To Taming Your Tongue
