It just works Nov 23, 2009
I purchased an older edition before having an interview with an employer located in the one place in the country I had been wanting to move to for years.
I used the techniques explained in this book. The series of same-day interviews with the different panels went great. By pure chance I was the last person they interviewed that day, they asked me to step outside for a couple of minutes, they called me back and I was offered the job on the spot.
I have given this book to a couple of friends who were also interviewing for jobs. They both got the jobs they interviewed for.
I am not claiming that this book is magical, but it definitely teaches you how to interview correctly. |

I have the earlier print of this booklet and decided that I needed the updated one. This is great and has helped me with my interviews. I still have not mastered the salary question from the potential employer but every other aspect has been great. Any one looking for a job in this market needs this book.

Simple to read but concise and has good answers to questions asked in today's interviewing world. Helpful to someone who's been out of this loop for many years.

Essential guide for the unemployed Jun 10, 2009
This book was recommended to me by a Career Placement Consultant. This book is an essential resource for displaced people, like myself, who are working on their next opportunity. This book is a quick read and to the point. It lists 100+ questions you might get asked on an interview. Ryan explains how to answer the questions and why. When I go on an interview I make sure I scan the book to review Ryan's ideas.
