| This is a beautiful Bible. The faux-leather is rich in color and the feel is butter soft. One of the things that was most important to me was the quality and clarity of the text. So many Bibles have text that is so small, it makes it difficult to read without reader glasses. This Bible has a great font! It is nicely sized, the words are reasonably spaced, and the text jumps out of the page. Even the translation messages at the bottom of each page are easy to read. The section in the front has many pre-made pages to allow you to record special events such as marriage, births, baptisms, family tree, etc., which makes it a great keepsake for families. If I could fault this Bible, there are two things that I would like to see changed. One, they only have one reading plan in the back of the book which is a 365-day reading plan. I would prefer to have multiple reading plans to choose from (like another Bible I have does), which would include (for example), a 60-day reading plan, a 30-day overview, a 30-day Walk with Christ, a 30-day walk through Proverbs, etc. The reading plans are helpful for guiding readers into different parts of the Bible instead of just reading cover to cover. The second thing I'd like is for the pages to be slightly thicker. I use a Bible highlighter to highlight key passages, and it's faintly visible on the back side of the page. This has not happened in other Bibles that I own, so it was somewhat disappointing to have the hint of highlighting from the previous page bleed through.
