Item Description...
Product Description The heartwarming television dramedy 7TH HEAVEN blends sometimes outlandishly comic situations with dramatic plotlines about serious social issues into a positive affirmation of family values and Christian morality. Produced by Aaron Spelling, the series centers on an all-American family headed by Reverend Eric Camden (Stephen Collins) and his stay-at-home wife, Annie (Catherine Hicks), as they struggle with the daily stresses and joys of parenting. Meanwhile, the Camdens' seven children--oldest son Matt (Barry Watson), athletic good-girl Mary (Jessica Biel), boy-crazy Lucy (Beverley Mitchell), preteen Simon (David Gallagher), precocious grade-schooler Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman), and newborn twins Sam and David (real-life twins Lorenzo and Nikolas Brino)--navigate the trials and tribulations of growing up with wholesome aplomb. This collection presents every episode of the family drama's fifth season.

| I enjoyed the DVD set very much. There are a lot of valuable moral lessons in each episode. And I am very satisfied with my purchase. | | | | Family values Oct 11, 2009 |
| Great show. We watch it as a family. It shows great family values. | | | | Really strong television show Aug 31, 2009 |
My family (husband and 14-year-old daugher) started watching the series on DVD a few months ago. We are gradually working our way through the series since we didn't watch it when it originally aired.
We have enjoyed each and every season of the Camden family adventures. These season is focused on the advantures and mis-adventures of the oldest daughter Mary and some of the teenage angst of 15-year-old Simon. The program is just good, enjoyable television that we can watch together. In addition to the entertainment value, the problems and situations the kids face are a great starting point for discussion with my own daughter. We can talk about good choices and poor choices that are being made by characters near her own age and the consequences the kids face due to the choices they made.
As I said in my review of Season 1: There is very mature content in these shows. While they are handled well and I am very comfortable with my daughter watching, if she were much younger, the material would not be appropriate. I would recommend no younger than 12 and possibly older. | | | | Yay for the Camden's! Aug 29, 2009 |
Every season of 7th Heaven impresses me in one way or another. Every episode has a beautiful moral message that leaves the viewer contemplating events in their own life and striving to make the best out of bad situations. That's what this show does for me. It encourages me to be a better person and leaves me feeling I'm not alone in wanting to do what's right when those around me just seem to thrive on self-indulgence and ignorance! 7th Heaven sheds a little light on viewers lives and I am so thankful for that. That's enough of my preaching (pun intended). If you've ever enjoyed an episode of 7th Heaven you'll have to get this season, as well. It is well-worth your time :-) 10/10. | | | | Bloody Mary. | 7th Heaven - The Complete Fifth Season is a strange season but it's one of my favorites of the series. Jessica Biel's character Mary becomes rebellious which I think was a good idea, this show needed a bad seed, these kids seemed too good to be true! Season 5 is more dramatic and that's the way I liked this show, the last couple of seasons were so cookie-cutter, it made me sick. Season 5 is definitely worth checking out. | | | Write your own review about 7th Heaven - The Complete Fifth Season
