SPREADING THE FAITH The Book of Acts brings you Luke's inspired account of the birth of Christianity nearly 2000 years ago. It tells how faith in Jesus grew from its historic Jewish roots to include the Gentile peoples of the world. Acts takes you all the way from Jesus' ascension in Galilee, to the Apostle Paul's imprisonment in Rome. In between you travel to ancient Damascus where Paul was converted, to the region of Antioch where they were first called Christians, to Paul's home in Tarsus, and on to places like Antioch of Pisidia, Ephesus, Philippi, Thessalonica, Athens, Corinth, and finally Rome. It's the great story of the spread of the faith in the first century.
