| My wife and I recently started using the NIV Couples' Devotional Bible for our devotions together as a married couple. The devotions have been lots of fun for us to read and do together. This is the NIV (New International Version) Bible with devotions for each day. The devotions cover a broad range of topics relevant to married couples from sex to money to work to family life. These devotions include both classic and contemporary writings. And the Marriage Builder questions are great for helping couples learn from one another. Zondervan's NIV Couples' Devotional Bible is great for married and newly-engaged couples who wish to study God's Word together and grow closer to Him and to each other. |

A lot of people tend to reach for God when you're down, which is what my husband I did when we bought this book, however it's taught us that if we keep God in our lives daily we'll be able to work things through before we hit rock bottom.
This Bible is good for people who might cringe at starting to do a devotion daily because each day is tailored, for example, the Friday devotion is usually short, and I appreciate that. If you're really pressed for time, you can also choose just to read the Verse for the day with your devotion and go back and read the whole Passage later.
The index in the back is also good for looking up devotions specifically by topic, for example, guidance or hope.

| A few months back I got engaged to a awsome Christian women. We wanted to find a bible study or devotional to do togeather. After looking at the different christian book stores there were not alot of choices. I find this devotional bible a good start for anyone who is newly merried and engaged. The devotionals take only about 20 min to do and they have great "get to know you" questions that you can ask each other so you can learn from each other. The bible is a great size to take to college, in the car and to church. |
